  13.     A check is now made on MealMaster 6.31 offerings to replace the
  14. line of "  ~-----------" with plus signs, or if the line in the recipe
  15. is "  ~=========" only the tilde will be replaced with an "=".   Now
  16. using the same logic to test all versions of Meal-Master recipes.

  20.     The exception would be a Meal-Master recipe that has been created
  21. with a word processor and does not have an exact "header".  An example
  22. would be "----- Meal-Master" with the recipe terminator being "-----".
  23. FOOD 4.1 will replace the header with:

  25. ----- Recipe in Meal-Master v6.2 and above Importable Format from FOOD 4.1

  27.     The end-of-recipe dashes will be replaced with a full line of
  28. dashes.  Any quantities can be in any column from 1 to 7, the units of
  29. measure must be in the same column as an exported MealMaster recipe,
  30. the remainder of the ingredient line can't extend past column 39.
  31. Truncation occurs at column 40.  A second column of ingredients will
  32. be detected as a two column recipe as long as the units of measure are
  33. in the correct column and the remainder of the ingredients do not
  34. wordwrap into column 1.  (Please read the specifications outlined in
  35. the Meal-Master 6.31 documentation for the limitations to this free
  36. form recipe.)

  38.     The reason this is being mentioned at this point, is due to the
  39. only requirement for an end of recipe termination is 5 dashes
  40. beginning in column 1 and has no other characters in the line other
  41. than dashes and spaces after column 5.  As a result of this
  42. restriction, lines that say, "--------------DIRECTIONS--------------"
  43. would be detected as an end-of-recipe line due to the 5 dashes at the
  44. start of the line.  There are two ways this problem can be handled by
  45. your word processor, 1) Replace the first six dashes with the space
  46. character, or 2) delete the offending line.  Less than 1% of the
  47. Cooking Echo recipes will now present this problem to FOOD 4.1.
